...works (tested the internal mike + the amplifier speaker out with 
headphones), and the internal microphone should have enough sensitivity to 
make the visual effects react in concert setups :)

Congratz Adam, so far there has been no major PCB error :)
It also seems there is less analog/EMI noise than on the ML401... and at least 
you don't hear the video sync signal in the headphones like the ML401 does!
