[Milkymist-devel] [Democompo] Status

Hey,

I just pushed some major changes into the modsynth repo. It's playing
the mod files in the data directory fairly successfully now.

Still lots of stuff to do of course:
* the commands/effects - the only one it bothers about now is volume
* resampling/mixing should be interpolating so that the sound is a bit
less crispy and frizzing
* performance can certainly be improved in the mixing/resampling loop
* sequencer should have a stop/play/pause mode so that at least it can
stop at the end of song (now it should just loop)
* maybe we should add a master volume so we can fade in and out
between screens or so
* and obviously some major cleanup could be done too.

Sorry if you guys get major conflicts though since I changed and
replaced a lot, all in mod.c of course. There is a chunk of about 200
lines starting at chan_produce_sample which is the new sequencer/
resampler/mixer code.

Also I added a small Makefile to compile and a "make play" to generate
a file and play with ffplay.

/b
