Maybe using some higher level abstract language like Haskell to generate
ASCII file in .schem (gschem) format would be an elegant solution.

Btw gschem seems scriptable in scheme, maybe there is some way to easily
input a sexp based description of the schema, and having it do the dirty
clicks :)
